Raymond Terrace is a small Hunter Valley town on the Pacific Hwy (1) 165 km north of Sydney. Due to its proximity to Newcastle, 25 km south, it has become a commuter belt township for its population. Light industry and an aluminium smelter at nearby Tomago help sustain the local economy, together with tourism.
